Le Lokon a connu une nouvelle crise éruptive avec trois explosions qui ont fait fuir de nombreux habitants. La première explosion a eu lieu le 14 juillet à 22h46 et les suivantes un peu après minuit et à 1h 10 le 15 juillet. 500 personnes ont rejoint 2000 autres qui avaient déjà été évacuées mercredi. Il n’est fait état d’aucune victime.

Mount Lokon went through a new eruptive episode with three explosions that caused many villagers to flee. The first explosion occurred on July 14th at 22:46 and the others on July 15th after midnight and at 1:10. 500 people who live along the mountain’s slopes joined 2,000 others who were evacuated on Wednesday. There are no reports of casualties.
