Plus de pub sur ce blog ! // No more ads on this weblog !

A partir de maintenant, vous ne devriez plus être importunés par les écrans publicitaires qui figuraient au bas de mes notes. Je zappe les séquences publicitaires – parfois interminables – à la télévision; ce n’est pas pour en être encombré ici. Je souhaitais effectuer la démarche depuis pas mal de temps. Maintenant, c’est fait!

From now on, you won’t be any more disturbed by the advertisements that used to appear at the bottom of my posts . I deliberately skip the ads – often desperately long – on television and I do not want to find them here! I wanted to do this for quite a long time and now it’s done!

Galeries d’images // Image galleries

drapeau francaisAfin d’illustrer ce blog, j’ai inséré plusieurs galeries d’images dans la colonne de droite. Elles défilent en miniature. Pour faire apparaître l’une d’elles en taille d’origine (600 x 400 dpi), il faut cliquer sur l’image avec le bouton droit de la souris, puis sur « afficher l’image. » Il n’est malheureusement pas possible de voir directement l’ensemble de la galerie dans cette taille.

Mon blog: Du nouveau! // My weblog is changing!

drapeaufrancaisComme je l’ai indiqué précédemment, la plateforme « Blogs de Voyage » qui hébergeait mon blog « Claude Grandpey, la passion des volcans » depuis ses origines a été piratée au mois de juillet, avec les gros problèmes que l’on sait. Suite à cet incident, j’ai ouvert un blog provisoire sur la plateforme « Overblogs » qui me donne satisfaction, mais que je trouve un peu simpliste.
Les gestionnaires de « Blogs de Voyage » m’ont conseillé de faire migrer mon blog vers la plateforme « WordPress », ce qui me permettrait de conserver toutes les notes antérieures. J’ai réalisé cette opération il y a quelques jours avec succès. Après quelques travaux de remise en ordre (qui ne sont pas forcément terminés!), le nouveau blog intitulé « Claude Grandpey : volcans et glaciers » est maintenant accessible à cette adresse :

Le blog http://volcansetglaciers.over-blog.com/ restera opérationnel jusqu’au 30 septembre.

A partir du 1er octobre, seul le blog https://claudegrandpeyvolcansetglaciers.wordpress.com/sera accessible.

drapeau anglaisAs I put it previously, the platform « Blogs de Voyage » that harboured my blog “Claude Grandpey, a passion for volcanoes” since its inception was hacked in July, with the big problems it caused. Following this incident, I opened a temporary blog on the « Overblogs » platform. I like it but I find it a bit simplistic.
The managers of « Blogs de Voyage » advised me to migrate my blog to the « WordPress » platform, which would allow me to keep all my previous notes. I successfully performed this migration a few days ago. After some reordering work (which if not fully completed), the new blog entitled « Claude Grandpey: volcanoes and glaciers » is now available at:

Until September 30th, the blog  http://volcansetglaciers.over-blog.com/will still be operational.

From October 1st, only the blog   https://claudegrandpeyvolcansetglaciers.wordpress.com/ will be accessible.
