Le HVO a mis en ligne une superbe photo du cratère du Pu’uO’o accessible via ce lien :

On remarque que le niveau de la lave est tellement haut que d’importants débordements se produisent vers l’est du cratère, côté d’où la photo a été prise. De plus, on voit parfaitement le petit lac de lave dont je mentionne régulièrement les débordements sur le plancher.
On remarquera à droite les instruments de mesures et les webcams installés par le HVO.
Cette image est à comparer avec la photo que j’avais prise (depuis le sud) à bord d’un hélicoptère en février 2011. On se rend compte du volume de lave émis par le volcan depuis cette époque.

On can notice that the level of lava is so high that major overflows are taking place on the eastern part of the cone where the photo was taken. Besides, one can perfectly see the small lava pond whose overflows I often mention in my notes.
One can notice to the right of the image the instruments and webcams set up by HVO.
This photo should be compared to the one I took from a helicopter in February 2011. One realises the huge amount of lava emitted by the volcano since that time.
