L’éruption se poursuit de manière stable. Les images des webcams (voir ci-dessous) montrent bien la situation actuelle : Un panache noirâtre dans lequel la cendre est encore bien présente s’échappe de la bouche éruptive septentrionale, tandis que la lave fait fondre la glace du Gigjökull d’où s’échappe un panache blanc de vapeur.
The eruption is going on in a stable way. Webcam images (see here below) give us a perfect view of the current situation: A dark plume that still contains quite a lot of ash is coming out of the northernmost crater while lava is melting the ice of the Gigjökull glacier, which accounts for the white plume of steam.
