D’après le site web Iceland Review, un essaim sismique culminant avec un événement de M 3,3 a affecté hier matin vers 1 heure le secteur de Bardarbunga sur le Vatnajökull. Le Met Office a indiqué qu’il était encore trop tôt pour savoir si cette sismicité était annonciatrice d’une éruption volcanique.
According to the Iceland Review website, an earthquake swarm culminating with a M 3.3 event affected yesterday shortly before 1 a.m. the Bardarbunga area on Vatnajökull. The Icelandic Met Office said it was too early to know if the seismicity was the starting point of something else, namely a volcanic eruption.
