L’éruption du Gamalama se poursuit. Voici une vidéo montrant les torrents de boue et la fuite des habitants. Il faudrait toutefois savoir si les lahars sont le fait de l’éruption actuelle ou la remobilisation par les fortes pluies des matériaux déposés par les éruptions précédentes, ce qui semble l’hypothèse la plus probable.
The eruption of Gamalama is going on. Here is a video showing the mudflows and the flight of the local population. However, it would be interesting to know if the lahars are caused by the current eruption or by the heavy rains carrying materials left by previous eruptions, which seems to be more likely.
