La coulée de lave qui s’écoulait le long de la subdivision des Jardins Royaux a atteint hier la base du pali. De type aa, elle n’est pas très alimentée et il lui faudra beaucoup plus de vigueur pour traverser la plaine côtière et atteindre l’océan.
Dans le même temps, la lave continue à se répandre sur le plancher du Pu’uO’o. Peut-être pas pour très longtemps car le Kilauea connaît une nouvelle phase de dégonflement.
The lava flow that was travelling along the Royal Gardens subdivision reached the base of the pali yesterday. Aa-type, it is poorly supplied and it will need quite a lot of time to reach the ocean.
Meantime, lava is still spreading on the floor of Pu’uO’o. Maybe not for a long time as Kilauea is going through another deflation episode.
Une nouvelle webcam, avec images en streaming, vient d’être installée sur l’Etna. Elle ne fonctionne pas ce matin car elle est en maintenance. On attend avec impatience le prochain paroxysme !
A new webcam, with live images of the volcano, has just been installed on Mount Etna. It is not operational this morning as it is being maintained. We are looking forward to watching the next paroxysm!
