Au vu de l’intensification de l’éruption du Stromboli (Sicile) ces deniers jours, et afin d’assurer la sécurité des visiteurs, le maire de Lipari vient de publier une nouvelle ordonnance modifiant les conditions d’accès au volcan. Ces dernières ont été décidées en concertation avec la protection Civile et les responsables scientifiques. Elles sont mises en application dès le 13 octobre 2022.
Côté Stromboli, l’accès aux visiteurs est interdit à partir de l’altitude de 290 mètres jusqu’à la zone sommitale du volcan. Jusqu’à la cote 290, il sera possible de grimper sur le volcan uniquement avec l’accompagnement de guides de montagne et / ou volcanologiques autorisés, par le sentier « Via Salvatore Di Losa – strada vicinale Parroco – Sentiero Naturalistico – Salita al Vulcano ».
Côté Ginostra, interdiction similaire pour le sentier Punta Corvi, depuis altitude 130 m jusqu’à la zone sommitale. Jusqu’à 130 m, l’accès n’est autorisé qu’accompagné de guides autorisés.

In view of the intensification of the eruption at Stromboli (Sicily) in recent days, and in order to ensure the safety of visitors, the mayor of Lipari has just published a new ordinance modifying the conditions of access to the volcano.
