Nevado del Huila (Colombie)

Selon l’INGEOMINAS, quatre phases de tremor ont révélé des explosions entre le 22 et le 28 juillet. Des panaches de gaz étaient visibles sur la webcam (voir lien ci-dessous) et ont été aperçus par le pilote d’un vol commercial. Le 23 juillet, des retombées de cendre ont été observées au NO du volcan. Le niveau d’alerte est maintenu à 3 (couleur Jaune) qui indique des modifications dans l’activité volcanique.

According to INGEOMINAS, four pulses of seismic tremor indicated explosions between July 22^nd and 28^th. Gas plumes were seen on the webcam (see the link here below) and by a pilot during a commercial flight. On July 23^rd, ashfall was reported in an area to the NW of the volcano. The Alert Level remains at 3 (Yellow), indicating « changes in the behavior of volcanic activity »).
