Le tremor connaît ces derniers jours de très fortes variations, allant d’un signal intense à un signal de quasi extinction. Pendant les périodes intenses, des morceaux de lave apparaissent encore à la surface de l’océan au sud de La Restinga..
Les dernières images bathymétriques (voir le lien ci-dessous) montrent le cône éruptif ainsi qu’une petite vallée d’effondrement (une fracture ?) au SO du cône.
