Comme pour contredire ce que j’ai écrit précédemment, la presse italienne indique ce matin que le Stromboli a connu une violente explosion mardi soir, 15 mars 2011, vers 18h30, avec des projections de bombes et autres lapilli jusqu’à San Vincenzo. On ne relève aucune victime parmi les centaines de touristes présents au moment de l’événement. Ils ont immédiatement été éloignés du danger par les guides et transportés vers le petit village de Ginostra.
According to the Italian newspapers, Stromboli went through a powerful explosive event last night at 18 :30 or so, with bombs and lapilli that flew as far as San Vincenzo. There were no victims among the hundreds of tourists who were on the site during the explosion. They were moved away by the local guides and transferred to the small village of Ginostra.
