La NASA a mis en ligne une photo de l’île Isabella aux Galapagos. Prise par le satellite Terra le 11 juin 2015, elle montre les traces de l’éruption du volcan Wolf qui a débuté le 25 mai. Les couleurs sont fausses. On peut parfaitement voir le cratère au cendre de l’image. La végétation est rouge tandis que les coulées émises à partir d’une fracture sur les versants E et SE du volcan apparaissent en noir dans leur parcours vers la mer.

NASA has released a photo of Isabella Island in the Galapagos. Taken by the Terra satellite on June 11th, it shows the traces left by the eruption of Wolf volcano which started on May 25th. The colours are false. The crater can clearly be seen at the centre of the image. Vegetation is red whereas the lava flows pouring through a fissure down the eastern and south-eastern slopes of the volcano appear in black as they travel down into the sea.
