D’après le Jakarta Post (information non confirmée par le VSI), le Marapi – à l’oust de l’île de Sumatra – aurait connu un épisode éruptif ce matin à 9h01, avec un volumineux panache de cendre qui est monté jusqu’à 350 mètres au-dessus du cratère. Il a été demandé aux villageois de ne pas s’approcher du cratère.
According to the Jakarta Post (but the piece of news has not been confirmed by the VSI) Mount Marapi, West Sumatra, erupted again at 9:01 (local time) this morning, spewing thick ash plume which reached a height of up to 350 meters from the crater. Local villagers have been told to maintain a safe distance from the crater.
