Volcans du Kamchatka (Russie)

Alors que l’activité du Merapi et du Bromo (Indonésie) est en déclin, celle des volcans du Kamchatka reste stable. Le Karimski, le Shiveluch et le Kliuchevskoi restent les volcans les plus actifs et sont maintenus en vigilance Orange. Le KVERT indique que le danger d’« explosions de cendre » est permanent, avec un risque pour le trafic aérien.

La NASA a mis en ligne une photo prise le 4 décembre et montrant le panache éruptif du Kliuchevskoi.

While activity at Merapi and Bromo (Indonesia) is declining, it is stable on Kamchatka volcanoes. Karimski, Shiveluch and Kliuchevskoi remain the most active ones and their alert level is kept at Orange. KVERT indicates that the danger of « ash explosions » is permanent and may be a hazard to air traffic.
