Le volcan semble s’être calmé. Un survol le 17 mai a permis d’observer des émissions de gaz en provenance de différentes sources à l’intérieur et à l’extérieur du cratère principal. Certaines anomalies thermiques étaient supérieures à 180°C. Les 17 et 18 mai, deux séismes de M 2,9 se sont produits à 6 km au SSE, à une profondeur de 2 – 3 km. Le 18 mai, une secousse de M 2,3 a été enregistrée à une profondeur de 3 – 5 km, à 5 km au SSO. Le niveau d’alerte a été abaissé à 3 (couleur Jaune : modifications dans l’évolution de l’activité volcanique)

It looks as if the volcano has calmed down. An overflight on May 17^th  revealed gas emissions emanating from multiple points inside and outside the main crater. Some thermal anomalies  were higher than 180°C. On May 17^th and 18^th, two M 2.9 earthquakes occurred 6 km SSE at depths of 2-3 km, and on May 18^th, one M 2.3 earthquake occurred at a depth of 3-5 km, 5 km SSW. The Alert Level was lowered to III (Yellow; « changes in the behavior of volcanic activity »).
