Le KVERT indique que le Klyuchevskoy a connu une séquence explosive le 15 août à 6h30 (TU). Le tremor volcanique a atteint une amplitude de 3,36 mcm/s. Les images vidéo ont révélé de nuit une incandescence au sommet du volcan (voir capture d’écran de la webcam ci-dessous). Des panaches de gaz avec un peu de cendre sont montés jusqu’à 6 km d’altitude. Les images satellitaires ont montré une forte anomalie thermique entre le 17 et le 17 août.
KVERT indicates that a new explosive eruption of Klyuchevskoy volcano began at 06:30 UTC on August 15th, 201. An amplitude of volcanic tremor was about 3.36 mcm/s. Video data showed an incandescence of the volcano summit at night (see webcam screenshot below) and gas-steam plumes containing small amount of ash up to 6.0 km a.s.l. Satellite data showed a big and bright thermal anomaly over the volcano between August 15th and 17th.
