Quatre aéroports fermés en Indonésie // Four airports now closed in Indonesia

Selon les journaux indonésiens, quatre aéroports sont maintenant fermés à cause de la cendre émise par le Barujari, un cône actif dans la caldeira du volcan Rinjani à Lombok. Le Ministère des Transports indique que l’aéroport international Ngurah Rai de Bali, l’aéroport international Praya et l’aéroport Selaparang de Lombok, ainsi que l’aéroport Blimbingsari à Banyuwangi, resteront fermés jusqu’à « vendredi à 07h45, heure de Jakarta. » En effet, selon le VAAC de Darwin, la cendre du volcan continue à se déplacer vers l’ouest en direction de Bali.
Les autorités avaient initialement prévu de rouvrir jeudi les terminaux domestiques et internationaux après l’annulation de 692 vols à l’aéroport de Bali à cause d’une augmentation de l’activité du Barujari mercredi en début de matinée.
L’aéroport de Bali achemine gratuitement les voyageurs bloqués vers la station de bus de Denpasar, ce qui leur permet de rejoindre l’aéroport international de Juanda à Surabaya et poursuivre leur trajet aérien.
Les autorités locales se tiennent prêtes à évacuer quelque 40.000 habitants vivant à proximité du Rinjani.

Local authorities have prepared a number of evacuation strategies for some 40,000 residents living near Rinjani volcano.
