Cleveland (Iles Aléoutiennes / Etats Unis)

Appartenant à l’arc des Aléoutiennes, le Cleveland a connu une brève éruption le jeudi 25 juin, avec un panache de cendre qui est monté jusqu’à 4500 mètres d’altitude. Le niveau d’alerte pour l’aviation, d’abord élevé à l’Orange, a été ramené au Jaune le 27 juin. De telles éruptions brèves sont typiques de ce volcan.

Lying on the Aleutian arc, the Cleveland volcano went through a small eruption on June 25^th, with an ash plume rising up to 4,500 m a.s.l. The aviation colour code was first raised to Orange and then brought back to Yellow on June 27^th. Such small, short-lived events are typical of this volcano.
