L’AVO indique que l’éruption du Pavlof continue. La sismicité reste élevée et on peut voir sur les images de la webcam un panache de cendre qui monte jusqu’à une altitude d’environ 6 km. Les habitants de Cold Bay, communauté située à une soixantaine de kilomètres au SO du Pavlof, ont observé de l’incandescence au sommet du volcan pendant la nuit. Des rapports de pilotes avec des photos font état d’une coulée de lave active sur le flanc NO.
AVO indicates that the eruption of Pavlof continues. Elevated seismic activity persists and a steam and ash cloud is visible in the webcam images rising up to about 6 km a.s.l. Residents of Cold Bay, located 60km southwest of the volcano, observed incandescent glow at the summit during the night. Pilot reports and photographs indicate that the lava flow extending down the northwest flank is still active.
