La séquence éruptive se poursuit. Dans son bulletin d’hier, l’Institut Géophysique faisait état de deux coulées pyroclastiques de 500 m et 1 km dans la matinée sur le versant ouest du volcan. Dans le même temps, des panaches de gaz chargés en cendre d’une hauteur de 4 km s’échappaient en rugissant du cratère sans toutefois provoquer de retombées.
The eruption is going on. In yesterday’s update, the Geographic Institute indicated that two pyroclastic flows travelled down the western slope of the volcano over 500 m and 1 km. Meantime, ash-laden gas plumes as high as 4 km were coming out of the crater. Roaring could be heard all the time.
