L’éruption se poursuit. D’après un observateur sur le terrain, Jérémie Franchitti, « l’éruption actuelle concernerait un nouveau volcan (satellite?) du Nyamulagira situé lui à quelques kilomètres. Elle est localisée dans la Province du Nord Kivu à quelques kilomètres du village de Rugari situé sur la route entre Goma et Rumangabo (à environ 35-40 km de la ville de Goma). Pour y aller, il faut s’adresser au Parc National des Virunga car le volcan est dans le parc. C’est aussi conseillé pour des questions de sécurité. »
Les autorités du Parc ont l’intention d’appeler ce nouveau volcan « Kimanuka ».

The eruption is going on. According to a local observer, Jérémie Franchitti, the current eruption is located in a (satellite?) volcano of Nyiamulagira, a few kilometres away from the volcano. It is taking place in the North Kivu province, a few kilometres from Rugari which lies on the road between Goma and Rumangabo (35-40 km from Goma). If you want to get there, you need apply to the National Park of the Virunga as the volcano is inside the park. It is also advisable to to so for safety reasons.
Parc authorities intend to call the new volcano « Kimanuka ».
