D’après le site web Gorilla.CD (http://gorillacd.org/blog/), une éruption a débuté le 6 novembre au soir sur le Nyamuragira. L’événement était visible depuis le quartier général du Parc. Il semble que l’éruption n’ait pas lieu sur l’édifice volcanique proprement dit, mais plutôt sur son versant inférieur. La lave s’écoule vers le nord, donc dans une zone inhabitée où population et faune ne sont pas menacées.

According to the Gorilla.CD website (http://gorillacd.org/blog/), an eruption started on November 6th in the evening at Nyamuragira volcano. The event could be seen clearly from park headquarters. It appears that the eruption is not happening on the volcano itself, but on the side and lower to the ground. Most of the lava flows north into an area where no one lives, so it shouldn’t bring harm to people or wildlife as the flow is moving slowly.
