L’activité reste stable, dictée par les phases de gonflement et de dégonflement du volcan, particulièrement nombreuses au cours des dernières semaines. En cliquant sur les deux liens ci-dessous, vous verrez d’une part la surface du lac de lave, d’une vingtaine de mètres de large, qui s’agite vigoureusement à quelque 200 mètres de profondeur au fond de la bouche qui perce le plancher de l’Halema’uma’u (la vidéo a été enregistrée le 19 novembre). L’autre vidéo montre un événement explosif qui a fait suite à un effondrement d’une partie de cette même bouche le 21 novembre au matin.

Activity is quite stable, depending on the D/I events which have been quite numerous in the past weeks. By clicking on the two links here below, you will first see the surface of the lava pond, 20 yards wide or so, which is extremely vigorous at a depth of about 200 yards at the bottom of the Halema’uma’u vent (the video was recorded on November 19^th). The other video shows an explosive event that followed the collapse of a portion of the vent rim on November 21^st.
