L’activité tantôt explosive, tantôt effusive du Shiveluch et du Karymasky se poursuit. Le niveau d’alerte est maintenu à la couleur Orange pour ces deux volcans. Comme précédemment, le KVERT indique que des explosions peuvent se produire à tout moment et affecter le trafic aérien international.

La couleur du niveau d’alerte est Jaune pour le Bezymianny, le Gorely et le Kizimen. Elle est Verte pour les autres volcans du Kamchatka.

Le temps était clément ces derniers jours au Kamchatka. Voici une belle vue du Klyuchevskoi le 23 mai au matin.

Explosive-extrusive-effusive eruption of Shiveluch and Karysmsy continues. The alert level for both volcanoes is Orange. KVERT indicate that ash explosions up to 6-10 km a.s.l. could occur at any time. Ongoing activity could affect international and low-flying aircraft.

The alert level is Yellow for Bezymianny, Gorely and Kizimen and Green for the other volcanoes.
