Comme cela était prévisible au vu de l’activité actuelle du volcan, la Préfecture de Catane vient de prolonger jusqu’au 31 mai l’interdiction d’accès au sommet de l’Etna. Les conditions sont les mêmes que précédemment: interdiction de grimper au-dessus de la cote 2920 (Torre del Filosofo) sur le versant sud et 2990 (Punta Lucia) sur le versant nord.
La situation est calme sur le volcan ce soir, mais tout peut changer très vite!
As could be predicted with the volcano’s current activity, the Prefecture of Catania has prolonged the interdiction of access to the summit area of Mount Etna. The conditions are the same as before: it is forbidden to walk above 2920 m a.s.l. (Torre del Filosofo) on the southern flank and above 2990 m a.s.l. (Punta Lucia) on the northern flank.
The situation is quiet this evening on the volcano but things may change very fast!
